KEVIN IVERS
"AMISH"
I was born and raised in McPherson, Kansas. I grew up an artist and designer drawing everything from rocket ships to super heros. Then taking my artistic eye to Photography, learning the art of capturing an image and improving on my skills with a camera. In middle school my father introduced me to stop motion animation, and that forever changed my life.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to attend The Los Angeles Film School. Graduated with a certificate in Direction with the class of November '06, jumping right into the industry, beginning my career as an After Effects artist for a documentary I found on craigslist. Later I followed up on a call from a schoolmate that a scifi picture was looking for volunteers, I was hired on the spot, scenicing spaceships and building hand props. Battle Planet (The Suit) was my first hollywood feature. Currently I work at The Barn Yard still building props, set peices, and designing as lead Illustrator. From time to time dealing with editing special effects and compositing.
